The DNA Testing Process

1. Order your test online. We will notify you by email when we have received your order.
2. A DNA collection kit will be shipped to you by over-night carrier. It has a unique order number.
3. Collect cells containing DNA by rubbing the swab on the inside of your cheek. Place the swab tip in the tube and the tube in the prepaid addressed envelope.
4. Deposit the envelope with the overnight carrier.
5. At our lab, your DNA will be extracted from the swab and genetic determinations made for the test(s) you ordered.
6. Your DNA sample will then be discarded.
7. A personalized report will be generated for you listing the results of each genetic determination.
8. Once the report is ready, we will email you --within three weeks after we receive your DNA sample. Access the results online using the user name and password that you selected when you placed the order. They will be maintained on a secure stand-alone hard disk for six months.
