Matrix Genomics looks toward a future where DNA information is used to maintain good health and avoid serious adverse drug reactions
Through their work in describing improved health and function among older Americans in recent decades and genetic influences on the occurrence of common age-related disorders, Drs. Larry and Elizabeth Corder came to see the possibility of developing DNA based assessments that define the level of inherited risk for common conditions. They saw that this information would reassure many people, and motivate some to take proactive steps to minimize risk. After a decade of research and publication in the medical literature, they succeeded in producing genetic assessments that define a wide range of inherited risk, now available through Matrix Genomics.
Serious adverse drug reactions can often be avoided. It can be determined FIRST whether a drug will be effective. Thus we have added drug response tests that cover commonly used drugs.
